Hi How can I draw 3D objects without porjection? (so the perspective is just off) (I know this is probably f**** easy, but I still can''t make it work )

Actually, you have to project your objects, after all you''re trying to draw 3D objects on a 2D screen.

Sounds like you''re looking for an ortho projection, that would make the "perspective off". Look for the D3DXMatrixOrthoLH function in the SDK.

yo! thanks man! it kinda works, but i still have one problem. I only want to switch perspective off on my background picture, I still want perspective on the objects in front.. is it foolish to make one viewport containing the backgroud (without perspective), then one on the top of it with perspective (including all other objects).. is it a better way 2 do this??

Well, you could set the Projection matrix to the background projection (ortho), draw all background objects, then set the Projection matrix to the foreground projection ("regular"), and draw all the foreground objects. Though there may be z-buffer issues there...
