I still can''t get it to work, because I get access violation. If someone can help me go step by step, I''d be very thankful. Here''s what I want to do: create a completely flat, wireframe terrain. Here''s what I''m doing. 1. Create a .pcx file, fill it with black color(the height is 0) 2. Create another .pcx file, fill it with black. I suppose this should mean that the material used for every tile should be base_material + 0. 0 being black. Right? 3. Convert the second .pcx into .wmp 4. Create one material. This material will be used to render the terrain. 4. Allocate the terrain structure. 5. Load terrain. 6. Render terrain <- unhandled exception, access violation. What could I possibly be doing wrong? Can someone provide simple source code and .pcx, .wmp files? Thanx a lot for your time.
