I just picked up a copy today of ''Programming Windows Fifth Edition by Charles Petzold. I heard alot about it on the forum here and many other places as well. From what i''ve heard and what I see glancing at the TOC it looks like alot of my questions and griefs will soon be answered. I''m about to embark on a very exciting journey. From now on I''ll only ask questions regarding win32 that this book and msdn haven''t covered. Kudos!
