3D map editor

I wont to start a 3d map editor project and I have thougth about the most of the things but I wont to do it the best way, so please, can anyone post all the tutorial/article links that he know about : -Level structure/header -Input in 3D -Data Structures used in 3d Thats all!! 10x!

Creating 3D Tools with MFC

MFC is *superb* for Win32-based tool development. It doesn''t need to be super fast (which is good because it isn''t), and the framework itself is about as stable as the OS you run it on.

It also integrates well with DirectX and OpenGL.

It''s what they used to make WorldCraft (the HL editor) IIRC.

- saving pigs from untimely fates, and when he''s not doing that, runs The Binary Refinery.

I can recommand VC# (or VB) and Direct 3D.
Very simple to write the code, so you get the app upp and running pretty fast. Also, you can easily make windows components! =)
