Suppose I have a number of objects that share vertices, but have different texture coordinates for each object. Should I just make a copy of the vertex with new tex coords and stick them in my vertex buffer, or is there a way to buffer texture coordinates? I was thinking about assigning multiple texture coordinates per vertex, but there is a maximum I can specify right? And that''s dependant on the video card, (please correct me if I''m wrong.) Any better way to do this?

If the vertex is the same except for a different texture coordinate, you must duplicate it . Multitexturing won''t make life any easier because it just involves more SetTexture calls.

Yeah, I figured that. It makes my coding easier (A LOT EASIER) but probably performance wise it''s not as good. Still the thing flies so I''m not too worried.

Thanks
