What do the experienced programmers who come to this site think about this article?
How would one scale an organization and keep quality? I think one way would be to model the organization after an operating theater (Brooks discusses this in the Mythical Man Month). That or modelling it after a law firm.

Yes, but that wasn''t the point.
The philosophy he describes as business expansion model really works for our firm, for example. Great many of our rivals have gone bankrupt after expanding too fast without good reason.
We, on the other hand, keep getting premium deals all the time
