Weird Colors when using GL_LINES

Hi! I''m fairly new to the OpenGL scene, but I struck upon a problem yesterday: No matter what I did, the lines would not become the color I choose. code example: glColor4f(1,1,1,1); "DrawLine" this gives a brown line, instead of white.... anyone knows about this problem? Thanx for reply, and if you''re wondering why I spell crappy or anything - it''s because I need to crap - NOW! Cheers! "Game Maker For Life, probably never professional thou." =)

Nope, I didn''t disable the texturing - didn''t know that was necessary. =)
