Hi. Can someone tell me please how you can add simple controls ( ie buttons and so on) to a window without using MFC nor WYSIWYG editor (oh yeahh, KurtCpp''s always think they''re strong but they can''t even do those small beginner stuffs). I found macros in MSDN doc but I cant tell whether thats what Im lookin for. Thanx for your help. Prog, Hex & Rock''n''Roll : I don''t like the Prog but the Prog likes me. Some nice poetry to sweeten your spirit and relax a bit before programming

the standard controls are just windows created from a special window class. look up CreateWindow or CreateWindowEx in the docs and you''ll see a list of the control classes listed at the bottom.

the newer controls, called common controls, like treeview and listview, are also just windows, but their window classes aren''t listed with the standard controls. each control type will instead have its own section in the docs that will tell you how to create it and manage it.
