How would one go about smoothing the movement of a bitmap across the window, when I move my bitmap in the while loop, even with a high frame rate it kind of jumps or draws part of it and then the other part of it just before it moves again. Does anyone have a suggestion, I know someone must have had a problem with this before, PLZ HELP!!!

I do use double buffering and I don''t move bitmaps at half a pixel, the drawing almost resembles a low frame rate problem, like seeing part of the image very slightly offset, but as I said the frame rate is very high, about 55 frames per second. Does anyone have any other thoughts, or am I the only person that has ever asked this question???

Just a thought, if there is such a thing, would triple buffering help this?

Post some code or put up a demo of ur app.

Double Buffering means it only show the frame once it has completed drawing. So no matter how slow it is, it will look smooth but at a slower speed.
