Lesson 6 Texture format

I''m unable to get lesson 6 to work unless the texture is exactly 256x256, otherwise my cube is white. Does anyone have any idea why? is it something to do with my graphics card (a TNT2 - it''s an old machine)

Actually you''re right. After RTFM, it seems that the textures can only be powers of two - this wasn''t mentioned in the tutorial.

Now I feel sheepish :->
