hi. i built an MFC MDI application to render 3d point clouds. everything went pretty fine, but suddenly i got some access vioaltions (0x00005) by opengl. i could narrow down the problem to a

//...
glEnd();

part of my program. The funny thing about the problem is, that it doesn't occur if i add

glBegin(GL_POINTS);
//nothing
glEnd();

right in front of the quads part. i assumed that i had a problem with some not closed glBegin() or PushMatrix() or glNewList() parts somewhere else in the program, so i switched everything off, but it didn't help! my program is working with the trick above but i think that theres something strange going on, so i'd like to solve the problem better. if anyone had the same problem.... thx Syn (Probably this problem was already discussed here, but I didn't find it.)
