I''ve got a Radeon9500 and I can now see the shadows! I get around 160 in fullscreen mode and about 140 in windowed. But the framerate drops to about 100 if I moev the beast thingy up off the floor.

still crash of startup. It creates the window and then crashes, though.

Ruudje and Crispy: do you have the lastest ATI drivers?
it uses VBO and should work without a hitch.

Runs fine here. 60 fps in fullscreen and 85 windowed (I have vsync enabled by default, dunno if that changes anything).

Athlon XP 2100+
512 MB RAM
Windows XP Professional
Radeon 9500 Pro 128M

Um yeah it does, when OpenGL goes fullscreen windows defaults it to 60hz, limiting your framerate to 60fps, and it looks as tho you normally have you monitor at 85hz (when not fullscreen) and that is limiting the windowed version

I tried your new version, release 3, but that one didn''t have any shadows.
