hi i am trying to write a function that draws a grid of quads like a terrain, but most of the tutorials are complicated and over my head for the moment i tried a few times and got grabage i know this is a pain for all of you pros. I anm very young but i am determined to learn this god dam it, so an algorithem or something would help with comments thanks

Start simple. Draw the grid one quad at a time. After you get that to work, you can speed it up somewhat by using a "quad strip" with OpenGL or a "triangle strip" with D3D to draw the grid a row at a time.

Then take a look at all of the more complicated algorithms to draw the grid even faster.
