Btw, what''s the preferred method of distributing OpenAL with your game? Do you just include the openal dll in your installer, or is it acceptable to have the user download and install OpenAL by themselves? It''s easy to just put the OpenAL installer on the CD if you''re selling a commercial game, but what do you do if you''re selling a download?

Creative would probably suggest including the installer on the CD and instructing the user to install it with a big button you offer.

However, the one game I own that includes OpenAL with it is UT 2003, and it just includes its own build of OpenAL (if you do this: respect the LGPL, et cetera ).

BTW: The site has been like that for at least a month, maybe two now.
