Hi This probably has been asked before but I can''t check as the search facility seems to be down. How big, in pixels, are the sizing frames and the title bar for a window running under Windows 2000 and does the OS make a difference? Thanks Asim

Those values can be customized by the users, and are most likely stored in the registry somewhere... why do you need em anyway?

I let Windows handle most of the work for me.

RECT rc

rc.left = 0;
rc.right = clientSizeIWantX;
rc.top = 0;
rc.bottom = clientSizeIWantY;

AdjustWindowRect(&rc, myclientwindowstyle, doIhaveAMenu)
[code]

This takes into account user prefs for border, menubar, etc.
