Damn yeah.
Not yet...
hell no!

our new version has many new and good features. sadly, the good ones are not new and the new ones are not good
If you want to have a reasonable conversation regarding the positive and negative points of the language, feel free, but I''m not going to let the Lounge method of garbage posts spill over here. Future "yeah" and "no" without reasonable explanations as to why you like or dislike it will force me to shut this down.

Ok here is the explanation(let''s turn this into serious thread):i''m planning on learning the python language and i''ve downloaded the interpreter and all but i don''t fully think it''s worth it.So what do you guys think about it?

"Not worth it" as in you have better things to do with your time? Don''t learn it then. I am sure the Python community will survive without your help.

The only non-python code I have written in the past year or so was C++ extension code for python.

"Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it." — Brian W. Kernighan
