DRAGGING AN OBJECT - I GOT IT!!!!!

Recommended Posts

woohoooo! I''m totally celebrating here, I''ve been working on this *$(*$@#( problem for weeks and I finally got it!!! Below in the thread "movement in 3d space" I outline my approach and there''s a link to the updated code. The last post in the thread is where I say it''s not working - the problem was I was translating the mouse coordinates once too many - I fixed that and now IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I''m very happy right now if you can''t tell, this was a pretty significant breakthrough for me! If you happen to have MFC and download to check it out, please let me know if there are any problems or questions! Thanks! Joe Love means nothing to a tennis player

OK it''s still not working perfectly - it seems that if you don''t click on the "front face" of the cube that the dragging goes backwards - I''m sure it''s no big deal, I''ll be able to fix it but I''m on the right track which is exciting for me!
