BSP-trees for collision detection

As far as I know - if you render a BSP tree in your engine, its easy to also use the bsp info to do col-detection, since you have alle the data you need.

However the collision respond can still be coded in verius ways, which is where the programming fun comes in

You can use any kd-tree for collision. For my engine though, which uses Octrees (for this case, doesn''t make a difference), I use a custom Collision Library to handle my collisions on a per-poly basis.

I just use the Octree for culling and Normal Mapping. Collision is handled by the collision library (Opcode via ODE).
