I have see the docs of intel in which they do a 4x4 and a 6x6 matrix inverse using simd. In game/graphics programming, the 6x6 matrix where is used ?

I remember seeing a 4x4 matrix inversion by Intel a while ago, and it was simply a tech demo of what can be achieved with SIMD, so I imagine the 6x6 inversion is the same. I certainly can''t think of any application for square (and so invertable) matrices bigger than 4x4 in game or graphics programming.

A 6x6 matrix could be used to represent a rigid body constraint in which all 6 degrees of freedom are full constrained. Fits into a general-purpose rigid body physics system. It also probably arises in other disciplines, and even outside of game development, .
