OpenGL opengl selection problem

hi all, my progect includes GUI that only part of it is the opengl window. i write the selsection code like in the tutorial but i always get zero hits althogh i get mouse event and load names to the stack. whatever i do the stack remains empty!! please try to help me im real desperate

Had the same problem too...
Maybe you load the names during a glBegin / glEnd fragment.
glLoadName does not work during a glBegin / glEnd fragment.
This was the solution in my case. Just try...

You could use one of the occlusion queries instead if you don''t get it working. I''m using NV_occlusion_query, but there is the more common HP_occlusion_test. Then there''s the new ARB_occlusion_query, but it''s not so widly supported yet I think.
