At the moment I''m calling about 24 glVertex3f calls and 24 glTexCoord commands to create my simple game. After reading about VBO''s I think by using them I''ll speed up my game, but how would I go about doing this? I read the NeHe example but that''s really overkill as I''m not using it for loads of polygons. Any suggestions?

Actualy i don''t think you would get much speedup... actually using a simple glBegin()... glEnd()... should be the fastest because everything else produces more overhead then speed gain... or as an easy speedup solution use display lists but don''t expect much...

btw. you shouldn''t have any speed problems... with that view polygons it should run at several hundred fps regardless of how you render them...

Yeah I''ve run some tests, I get over 1000fps at the moment, I might try Display Lists.

Thanks for clearing that up, I wasn''t sure what would be the best option.
