I have a new and improved demo up: http://users.on.net/amathews/SiphonEngine_balldemo.exe now with collision detection and some simple physics I get about 80-90 frames per second please post what you get

140-150 fps on GF4 & AthlonXP 2.4

But you shold do something about Z-fighting. Water-Land edges look very jagged even at close distance. Otherwise nice.

103 FPS on a Radeon 9600Pro Athlon 2000Xp

i get 20-25 FPS on a 400 mhz Celeron w/ Nvidia GeForce 256 Annihilator
