Nurbs, surfaces

Hi! Is it possible to export the actual points of a nurb surface created in 3D Studio MAX? The surfaces are already rendered in the 3ds-format. I must be able to render the surfaces myself so I can control the tesselation level.

Did you try with .ASE export (ascii format) to see what it outputs ? If it doesn''t work, you will have to write your own plugin (don''t know if Max Script could do that)

You might be able to do something fairly easily if you''re willing to get into MAXscript, but I''ve never tried...

scriptspot.com might have something. At the very least, it seems there is a script that creates points from a data file, so maybe that can get you started...
