VB6, is there such a control:

Recommended Posts

Hi, I''ve recently started using VB6, and I was wondering if there are any free controls available which will display a webpage for me.. I kinda suspect the answer is no.. but I thought I''d ask anyway. Thanks in advance.

The control library is called "Microsoft Internet Controls", and it''s located in shdocvw.dll.
To programmatically use html/dhtml capabilities of it, i suggest referencing "Microsoft HTML Object Library" as well, it''s found in mshtml.tlb.

I looked these up while visiting a friend yesterday evening, i don''t have vb6 myself anymore

Saandman: Well, he did specifically ask for a control...

You can also use Mozilla as a control, but you have to fiddle about first. Search for "Mozilla Active X" and you''ll find it
