Hi guys, I''ve been wondering what would you think about the following game (engine?) design: Game -> Graphics Engine Audio/Video/Music Engine Network Engine Settings Engine (.ini etc) Data Engine (models, sound, graphics etc) Input Engine In-Game -> GUI Game Engine -> Physics Engine Collision Engine -> Collision Detection Collision Response Visibility Engine (Frustum?) (Of course, most of them are interfaces) Thanks. " Do we need us? "

Use i.e. UML to make the design aka. how your components work together. Check out the great "Enginuity" series here at GameDev.net
