Problem with CD3DMesh colors

Hi, probably Direct3D beginner problem, but I need help ;-) Starting with Direct3D sample StencilMirror I tried to display mesh from a ''.x'' file. The mesh colors are converted just to 16 colors while the fog shade of colour can be changed. The util MVIEW displays the ''.x'' file properly in all shades. What do I need to set/call? Thanks.

The ''.x'' file was converted from a ''.3ds'' file created by ???. There were quite big values of vertices parameters, so I''d to call
D3DXMatrixScaling( &matScale, 0.003f, 0.003f, 0.003f );
to view the mesh. I don''t know why, but the call changes mesh colors just to 16 colors.

Solved by the ''.x'' file modification - I recalculated all values there and I''m happy now ;-)
