When i upgraded my computer i bought windowsXP home edition and today i finally got sick of XP i now totally hate it. So i went through my dusty old cd box and installed my old windows2000 and now visuall Studio crashes at the splash screen does any one else ever have any problem similar and if you did how did you fix it? (Quick note to readers im desperate hehehe(i cant live a day without a bit of coding(im having nightmares just thinking about it(my voices are returning arrrg))))

You could download dev-c++ until you get visual studio back up. I, unfortunately, do not know why you visual studio could be crashing.
