Hi, I want to try make a simple 3d graphics app with a raytracer. I have started writing my raytracer in c and compile it with mvc++6. I really want to start learing c# and I am getting .net in about a month and until then I will be working on my raytracer. What I would like to do is to write the gui (modeller) in c# and use opengl for the viewports. Questions 1. Would it be possible to make the modeller with c# that writes out a scene file and is capable of running the raytracer to render that scene from within the program. So the app calls the raytracer that was written in c to render the scene. 2. Can c# use all of opengls functionality? 3. Would it be better to make the raytracer a .dll or make it an exe? Any help with this would be great, Thanks
