Reversed Projection

Hey, How do I remove or filter away the reversed projection, when doing projective texturing?

Try modulating your projective texture by an OpenGL spotlight, or use a 1d texture which is white in the direction you would like the projection, and black in the other.
How do I use the 1D texture?

And how do I sample the projected texture (a spot-light) so that I can use it in my fragment shader to light up?
