Blending in CG

Anybody know how to do texture blending/masking in CG(vertex shaders preferably, but pixel shaders will also do) ?

you mean like lerp?
ie: lerp(color1,color2, blend_factor)
?
meant something more for textures. But i''ll try that out and post results. thanks.
