Hi, I''m using a book, Tricks of the Windows Game Programming Gurus, to learn more about game programming. The CD has the SDK for DirectX 6 . The problem is, the installation isn''t working, as the CD might be damaged. I was wondering where I can get the SDK for DirectX6 or 7 on the internet, so I can follow along in the book. I know Microsoft doesn''t carry them in their website anymore, as they only carry the most up-to-date version. Thanks -Gauvir_Mucca

You can code for DirectX 6 interfaces with DirectX 9 SDK, although there are no docs for it - but if you use your book as reference you''ll be OK.
