using combo boxes in an MFC app
i am at a total loss here. perhaps its because i lack any formal training but the MSDN explaination of using a combo box (ie the little box thing with a list of strings that you click and it drops down the strings and lets you select one) makes no sense whatsoever. i created the combo box inside the dialog (with the dialog editor). but how do i add items at run time? and then how do i get the text that is currently selected? MSDN said something about creating a CComboBox object and using the Create method to create the combo box... but i already created it... its right there in the dialog... theres probably some concept im overlooking or missing here because this seems like it should be easy as pie. i usualy stick to c++ but ive done stuff like this in VB and its EASY...
Bungo!
