For a so-called "lone wolf" (that’s me) which 3D modeler, animator, and renderer package would be better: TrueSpace 6.0 or GameSpace? While attending college, I wish to take advantage of the student discounts I have available to me so price is not a deciding factor. How do you know if DigiSoap is a frequent poster here?
And why the pissy sig?

How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

He tries to look cool by ignoring anyone who he thinks might know more about the subject he''s arguing about than him. Why he uses it in serious threads, however, I have no clue.

trueSpace6.6, probably, if you plan on doing any nongame-related art, or doing more complicated, pre-rendered cutscenes and the like.

Also, I''d change your sig; not that I don''t find it amusing, but the signature itself, which states that you will not respond to posts which you consider to be flames, is flame-bait in itself, especially the part about moderators, and especially because you single out specific accounts. I''m sure you mean well, but it''s a bad idea.

Thank you, I figured as much. I found TrueSpace 6.6 at Academic Superstore for $199.95 and I am sure I can use it for commercial use (unlike the ultra-low price of 3D STUDIO MAX).

Oh, and I changed my infamous “sig” a long time ago.

"Do not flame people you don't know in a public forum. Only amateurs do that. Professionals in the industry know they will run into each other over and over. The person you flame this year may the person you want to do business with next year. Don't burn your bridges," (Diana Gruber, http://www.makegames.com/chapt6.html) .

Cut it. Now. This is your first warning. Next will result in probation, third will result in a bad for an undetermined amount of time that will be removed at my descretion.

Same goes for anyone participating in such kindergarten-level personal attacks.
