Hiya Well, as do a lot of you guys, I want to one day be a professional game developer. For the past 2 years or so I have been cramming my brain with any info I can learn that I feel is beneficial. However, I don't think that just being a good coder is going to cut it though. I want to start going to a local college to take a few individual classes, but Im not sure what I should take. I think that college math, writing, and possibly some kinda software engineering class would be my best bet. Ultimately, I want to be good enough to make it thru Fullsail so that I don't wind up dropping out and owing 40 grand. I would imagine that employers in the game industry look for people that have good communication, strong math background, demos showing off your work etc. Hmmm... at least this thread could make for a good discussion ~no one [edited by - no one on October 22, 2003 4:13:45 AM]
