Hi, Can anyone point me to a C/C++ library for loading, mixing, and playing WAV files to be used in my game? I have tried SDL_Mixer and it is very good, but it requires SDL which I dont want to use. Thanx in advance.

FMOD - free for personal/non-commercial use which supports a whole load of audio formats.

EDIT: its also cross platform

I couldn''t figure out how to set up SDL_Mixer - I''d like to give it a try though, if someone could help me sort out all these files they have here...

And in response to myp, the only other I know of is FMOD, which is really easy to set up and use, is free if is distributed non-commercially, or requires something like $1000 to license if you wanted to sell your product.
weee!
