Not Bad, but I have a few suggestions
1) Make the background of the page a different could so we can see the full borders of the game
2) I think it needs to be a little more obvious that you have lost a life, at first I thought that it could just bounce off the wall behind me but then I realized that I was using lifes.. maybe make it so that there is a board on that side as well that changes colors like green slowly to a red and then blows up at the end
so like green, yellow, orange, red, gone and gameover.. over all pretty good for a first game
