Just finished C++ Primer Plus by Steven Prata. I feel as though I have a great handle on most of the material, even if I have to go back and reference some of the material when I am coding some of my own basic console applications. Now, I want to get into gaming. I know a bit about OPengl.. having gone through nehe''s tutorials.. but as far as the game structure, the game loop.. etc.. i am a bit lost. can someone point me to some links or tutorials on basic game loops? perhaps.. some source code.. or articles? thanks..

For me, the basic game loop goes as follows:
