Simplest way to create a tunnel roof - Like an arc?

I''m trying to make a tunnel with the roof like an arc or split circle if you want. Like a half gluCylinder(). Is there some primitive in gl, glu or glut who draws this? Or can I "bool" half of the cylinder away in some way? Does anyone know?

Yes I do know some trig.
I might even know what you are thinking about when you said trig, a lightbulb lit above me.
Anyway, Will it be as simple with texture coordinates for this?
