I am curious about several things in reference to online game development: Do you use dedicated servers? What kind of bandwidth requirements are needed to run an MMORPG? For that matter, what kind of bandwidth is needed to run any online game? What can an ISP offer to aid with the development and launch of online games? Any response will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Goto http://seriousfix.com [edited by - tss on November 6, 2003 9:47:05 AM]

I''m sure that dedicated servers is the best server solution, and you will need at least a 10mb/s connection to the internet.

Thank you for that feedback. 10MB is quite a lot of bandwidth. Will the smaller MMOGs use this much bandwidth? Do they house their servers at farms or onsite?

Thanks again and please keep the information flowing. I really do need the information.

Thank you.
