wav files problems with DirectSound (DirectX 7)

Hi, i installed directX sdk (directX 7) and i tried to use directsound in an MFC application. The probleme is : in my application i can read wav files that i found on the directx cdrom. But when i want to use my wav files, there is a bug when directsound try to lock the buffers. My wav files are in Mono, 44100Hz, 16bits PCM. So i don''t understand why there is a problem. Thanks for your ideas... Eat a beaver and you''''ll save a tree... (How much wood would chuck a woodchuck if a woodchuck would chuck wood ?)
