double buffering (dos mode)

I have a problem about double buffering technique in C/C++ (16 bit) I tried using setactivepage() and setvisualpage() to avoid flicker in my screen but it still flickers.... can anyone tell me the solution? I''m using 16 color mode (VGA,VGAMED) thanks before

Before You write to Video memory You have to wait for Vertical Retrace. I dont have source code right now, but google is full of this. Try this GOOGLE SEARCH RESULT
