Hello. I am planning on learning OpenGL. My question is, what do I need to get and set up so I can use it. What are the current versions and things I need to download in order to develope? Also, does anyone have any nice websites they would reccomend? Once I learn how to do the basic things with it, I would like to create a very simplistic and crude pong game. If anyone knows a direction to point me in with learning OpenGL, I would appreciate it. ~Torent. Alan@Marijuana.com

If you have the Windows or Linux or MacOS headers, then you have the OpenGL headers already. They come as part of the SDK for each platform. Just #include <GL/GL.h> and link against opengl32.lib (or similar) and be happy.

For starters, try http://nehe.gamedev.net/ and the reference/beginner sections at http://www.opengl.org/
