Point sprite coloring problem

Whenever I render my point sprites, they blink from their diffuse color/texture to solid black, and/or other seemingly random colors, for no obvious reason. I can't seem to figure out why and am starting to second-guess myself thinking it's intended or a common flaw or something of that order. Does anyone know what causes this problem and/or how to correct it? [edited by - ms291052 on November 7, 2003 11:28:52 PM]
