what is better? polygon or HCURSOR?

hi! i''ve got a question... what should i use for my game, considering speed... a Direct3D cursor (a textured squre) or a win cursor (HCURSOR, etc, etc) thanks in advance!!

Some hardware doesn''t support HCURSORs over Direct3D surfaces. That''s why there is a Direct3D cursor. So use that.

what do you mean with "That''s why there is a Direct3D cursor"... so is there a predefined way to get a cursor from D3D? or should i do it by myself?? ....
