Sphere Plane Collision Response

I require mathematical help, given a sphere that collide properly with a plane (no edge collision) and decide to respond by bouncing off in a new direction vector (imagine the cue ball hitting the side of a pool table). Given that i know the normal of the plane and position of collision, how do I calculate the exit vector. any help will be appreciated.
