There are many ways to do it.

What language are you using, what OS are you using?

Are you using a library, like GLUT, SDL, DirectX, for your windowing systems?

im using VC++ 6 and its on XP home. im i am just using a basic library, nothing special
Off the top of my head, MFC requires you to change the resources.

IF you are using CreateWindowEx(), it is the third parameter. I believe there is also a parameter in CreateWindow(), but you''ll have to use MSDN to find the parametors.
