3D Game Design - Model View Separation

I would be very interested to know what people are actually doing (if anything) to separate the view from the model in their game designs. To put my question in perspective; presently I am using the Model View Controller pattern for my game. The game is evolving at a slow steady ready, but I have started to question my decision to separate the model from the view (at least in this manner) because of the complexity and the shear number of classes the Model View Controller patterns tends to generate. As previously stated, I would be very interested to hear what people feel is best of breed for game design? _______________________________________ Understanding is a three edged sword...
