daudio classes with gl game pogramming book

when I use the classes that come with the book opengl game programming to play a wav file in the background, the sound randomly plays or doesn''t, and I noticed that sounds in a time to kell aren''t working well, so are the classes (CAudio and CAudioSystem) buggy or what? did anybody use them in their own projects?

d/ling it right now, hope it works.

EDIT:
d/led source for chapters 20 and 21, both are still just like the classes that came with the books CD, am I missing something here?

Nevermind, I already have a sound system implemented in fmod, so I guess no need to DX Audio, i just wanted to give it a try, thx anyway.

Oops! I was thinking of an entirely different book! Sorry for the bum steer.

I don''t remember having any problems with the CAudio/CAudioSystem classes in the Hawkins/Astle book, but I wound up using my own anyway.
