When I compile a program in VC++ in gives me a file with .obj as an extension instead of a .exe like DevC++ does. How can you make it give you a .exe extension so I can run it?

jepp... use buid...
"devC++" ( the compiler is called mingw-gcc, actually ) also outputs object files, extentioned with .o, because thats the unician standard, while .obj is the windows standart. devcpp uses the build option by default instead of the compile one... but vcpp also does O_o
