I want to write some code that will give me the years, months, and days until a certain date occurs (the day my friend''s little sister turns 18, lol). I found some code that uses the Date class to get the current date. I could just subtract the two dates, but then I''d have to check for things like if the months are the same, which months have 30/31/28/29 days in them, etc. I''m just wondering if this is the best way to go about doing it, or if there is an easier way. I know pretty much nothing about javascript. Thanks. ___________________________________________________________ Proceeding on a brutal rampage is the obvious choice.

try searching google.com for scripts that did countdown to the year 2000, they where very popular and it wouldn''t suprise me if some of them still exist.
